Life isn't waiting

Wow, has it really been 2 months since my last post?   Sorry for being MIA once again, all I have to say for myself is I'm bipolar lol.  Things have been going fairly well.  I am on different medications that seem to be working pretty good.  I am on Geodon, Wellbutrin, 1/2 dose of Seroquel and Trazadone for my Bipolar.  The seroquel and trazadone are supposed to help me sleep.
A week ago monday I was in an automobile accident, some idiot cut across 2 lanes of traffic OVER double yellow lines, and I was in the turn lane and didn't see him in time and we hit.  My car is a total loss, so that sucks.  I still owe money on it so it's not like I can go buy a new car with the money we would get, because of my bankruptcy the money has to go directly to my trustee.  Joy for me.  But that will reduce the number of payments I have to pay to the trustee by about a year, so 4 years instead of 5.

So hopefully on Thursday we will be able to get me a used car for under $1000.00.  Right now my mom and dad are being my taxi service.  Rob drops me off at work around 8am and then I get picked up by mom and dad.  I injured my neck and back in the accident and am on muscle relaxers and pain medications.  I am also seeing a physical therapist.  The pain comes and goes, is worse after standing all day for work, also after sleeping.

What else has gone on in the past few months?  Oh yeah, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Psychiatrist she is amazing, listens to me, and wants to try and get me off of some of the meds I am on as they are redundant.  Right now we are lowering the dose of Seroquel to wean me off of it as it has the same actions as the Geodon.  I feel pretty stable at the moment, I can say that if I was in my car accident a year ago I would have been a hysterical bawling mess, but I handled it pretty well, I was shaky but no crying.

What else?  Oh yeah, I had a sleep apnea study done, and apparently I have it, I have to go back for a CPAP/Titration study next week.  So hopefully that will help me sleep better so I don't wake my hubby up every 10 seconds.  One of my dogs passed away, my little Pekingese Annie, she got pneumonia, she was seriously dehydrated, she was in the hospital but sent home, I figured she was active enough that I could groom her, she collapsed on the grooming table.  I will miss her noises.  One day I'll see her again at rainbow bridge.

Well this is a lot longer than I expected so I will wrap things up by saying I am feeling pretty good and doing pretty good at the moment.

Trying another new thing called Saturday 9, it can be found here:  http://samanthasaturday9.blogspot.com 1) Do you come up with your brightest ideas early in the morning or late at night?   I would say that I am most creative later in the evenings 2) Are you more likely to feel romantic at night or in the morning?  Depends on the day :-), but usually at night 3) Do you shower in the morning, after work or before bed?   I shower in the mornings, it helps wake me up 4) Billie Holiday was just 44 when she died. Is there an artist whose early demise surprised and saddened you?   Not an artist but Heath Ledger's death really shocked me and took me by surprise.  He is one of my all time favorite actors. 5) Billie was known as "Lady Day." Do you have a cool nickname? (If not, feel free to give yourself one right now.)   No cool nicknames, as a kid I was "Woodie or Fruitcake".....don't ask LOL 6) When was the last time you had the blues?   ...

Who Are you?

Sunday stealing  Who Are you? Part 7 – It is Over!  Part 7: Self Image 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:   I wake up at 6:00am, take a shower, get ready for the day, then I go downstairs and feed the critters, and make breakfast for hubby and I.  We usually leave the house by about 7:30ish and I drop my husband off at work.  Then I work (I'm a Pet Groomer) until about 3:30 or 4:00ish then I leave for home and go get my hubby from work.  Then I come home and make dinner, feed the critters, work on cleaning the house a little and we usually head to bed about 8:30ish or 9:00. 85. What is your greatest strength as a person?   I am a very compassionate and have a big heart 86. What is your greatest weakness?   Interrupting people when they are talking 87. Are you going to run for President in 2016?   Nope, I don't care about politics all that much 88. Are you generally self-contained? No, I do like to talk, except t...
