New Glowing Facial Routine

So one of the lovely side effects of being pregnant is major acne breakouts.....UGH!  So I did a lot of research and have started a new facial routine.  I have noticed a huge difference in my face so far, I've been doing this for about 2 weeks now.  I had really dry peeling skin on my forehead and nose and it's gone now.  I found all of these recipes on Pinterest/Google

AM (Done in the following order)
1- Honey/Baking Soda Scrub
2-  ACV Toner/Astringent, let air dry for a minute or two
3- Acne Spot Treatment/Metronidazole Cream on trouble spots
4-  Grapeseed Oil Moisturizer

PM:
1-  Oil/Witch Hazel Makeup remover
2-  Honey/Baking Soda Scrub
3-  ACV Toner/Astringent let air dry for a minute or two
4-  Acne Spot Treatment/Metronidazole Cream on Trouble Spots
5-  Oil of Olay Wrinkle Cream (I can't use oils at night because I wear a CPAP mask

Recipes:
1-  Honey/Baking Soda Scrub
1 teaspoonish Honey (best to use raw/manuka), I am using just what I had on hand due to finances
1 teaspoon baking soda
Put on warm wet washcloth and scrub face with it, rinse with warm water

2-  ACV Toner/Astringent
I put essential oils about 10 drops of the following, grapefruit, frankincense, lemon, lavender, tea tree
Fill the rest of a roughly 2 oz bottle with Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg's Raw is best brand)
Apply with cotton ball

3-  Acne/Spot Treatment/Metronidazole Cream
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
10-20 drops each:  Lemon, Tea Tree, Lavender
Transfer to a smaller container if desired, I got mine at Walmart in their sample/travel size section
Mix well and put in fridge until set up.
I have a prescription of Metronidazole for Rosacea, so I put that on my trouble spots as well.
Apply with qtip as not to contaminate it

4-  Grapeseed Oil Moisturizer
Roughly 10 drops each of Lemon, Tea Tree, Frankincense, Lavender & Tea Tree Essential Oils
Fill the rest of a 30ml amber vial with Grapeseed Oil (an oil known to be good for acne/oil prone skin

Put about 4 drops in palm of hand and spread on face

🌿 CBD and Hormones: What Every Woman Should Know

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 14, 2025 Let’s be real: being a woman comes with a lot of hormonal ups and downs. Mood swings. Fatigue. Bloating. Brain fog. Anxiety. Sleep issues. And don’t even get me started on the perimenopause rollercoaster. Whether you’re in your 20s or late 40s (like me!), hormones influence everything —your energy, mood, digestion, skin, cycle, and emotional balance.
