Day 2 Refresh Results

Day 2 Refresh Routine & Results This is me 10 minutes after waking up letting my hair 'rest'  This is why I must 'refresh' my hair in the mornings after 'wash 'day.  Yesterday was wash day and my hair was on point!  I got so many compliments on my hair it was AWESOME!  I clarified my hair, deep conditioned and then washed as I normally would and styled like usual, but it was on point.  I finally have all my products in my line up and the results were stunning!   See absolutely AMAZING!  Love the definition I got and all the curls!  Just so happy with the overall process and results!  Loving Curly Girl Method and what it's doing for my hair!   Anyways how I refresh is I use the "Bowl Method" basically I use warm water in a large bowl, dunk my head in it and then squish my hair to 'reactivate' the product in my hair, then I add about a quarter size amount of Aussie Instant Freeze Gel into my wet hands and add by roping ...

Curly Girl Method for Kids

Our daughter (she is 7 1/2 years old right now) inherited both of our curly hair so she has curly hair.  This is her hair 'pre' curly girl method.  We have been using Suave Kids Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash and then the Suave Detangler, neither of which are Curly Girl Approved.  As you can see it leaves her hair a tangled mess!   As I mentioned in my previous post my mom recently attended a wedding where she saw my cousins daughters who have beautiful curls, she inquired as to what products my cousin was using and she got the low down on her routine, and shared it with me.  So we are going to give it a try.   These pictures are just with my daughters hair washed with the Suave kids shampoo/conditioner/body wash (NOT Curl Girl Method approved), as the conditioner we are going to use for her comes tomorrow.  This is just with the leave in conditioner/detangler.  Marc Anthony Gro Long Leave In Conditioner Detangler  (**Side note...

Curly Girl Method

So I have naturally curly hair, which I have a love/hate relationship with.  It's dry, frizzy and has a mind of it's own most of the time.  My mom recently went to a wedding of one of my cousin's kids and saw another cousins daughter who has curly hair that was really cute and adorable and it looked spot on curly and cute, so she asked how she did it, and it got me thinking about the "Curly Girl Method" again.....I used to do it a while back but just fell out of touch with it.  So I've been 'obsessed' over the past few days to say the least. This is my hair "non" curly girl method, the only product that I use that is CGM approved it the Suave Naturals Conditioner You can find it here:   https://amzn.to/3wwVCBV I don't use shampoo, I 'cowash' only.  Then I have been using the "Aussie" curl enhancing oil, then their 2nd day refresh, and mousse.  As you can see, my hair totally isn't loving the products.  So I did a t...
