Cheers to 2025: A Happy New Year from Curls to Paws!

Hello, fellow pet lovers! As we say goodbye to 2024 and welcome in 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share some New Year’s tips for you and your furry companions. I’m Heather, the voice behind Waiting 4 Sunshine, and I’m excited to embark on this new journey with you and your pets.

Reflecting on the Past Year

This past year has been a whirlwind of joy, challenges, and unforgettable moments with our beloved pets. Whether it was those cozy cuddle sessions on the couch or the playful antics that left us in stitches, our furry friends have truly enriched our lives. As we move into the new year, let’s carry those joyful moments with us while setting intentions for an even better year ahead.

New Year’s Tips for You and Your Pets

As we step into 2025, here are some tips to ensure a happy and healthy year for both you and your pets:

  1. Set Realistic Goals: Just like personal resolutions, setting goals for your pet can be beneficial. Whether it’s teaching a new trick, improving their leash manners, or committing to more playtime, setting achievable goals will help strengthen your bond.

  2. Prioritize Health: Make this the year you focus on your pet’s health. Schedule regular vet check-ups, maintain a nutritious diet, and consider incorporating quality supplements, like the PawTree products, to enhance their well-being.

  3. Establish a Routine: Pets thrive on routine, and establishing a consistent schedule can help reduce anxiety and create a sense of security. Set regular feeding, walking, and playtimes to help your pet feel more settled.

  4. Embrace Self-Care: Don’t forget about your own self-care! A healthy and happy owner leads to a happy pet. Make time for grooming, relaxation, and fun activities that rejuvenate you. Consider pampering yourself with MONAT products to keep your hair looking fabulous while you take care of your fur baby!

  5. Create Enriching Experiences: Keep your pet mentally and physically stimulated by planning activities that engage their senses. Try new toys, puzzles, or outdoor adventures to make every day exciting.

  6. Capture the Moments: Make it a goal to capture special moments with your pet this year. Whether it’s through photos or journaling, documenting your adventures together will create lasting memories to cherish.

  7. Be Open to Change: Just as we evolve, so do our pets. Be open to learning new things about their needs and preferences. Adapting to these changes will strengthen your bond and enhance their overall happiness.

Cheers to New Beginnings!

As the clock strikes midnight and we ring in 2025, let’s celebrate the joy and love our pets bring into our lives. Here’s to a year filled with tail wags, playful pounces, and endless cuddles. Thank you for being part of the Curls to Paws community, and I can’t wait to share more adventures, tips, and heartwarming stories with you in the coming year.

Wishing you and your furry companions a fabulous New Year filled with love, laughter, and plenty of paw-sitive moments!

Happy New Year!

With warmth and joy,

 Heather

🌿 CBD and Hormones: What Every Woman Should Know

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 14, 2025 Let’s be real: being a woman comes with a lot of hormonal ups and downs. Mood swings. Fatigue. Bloating. Brain fog. Anxiety. Sleep issues. And don’t even get me started on the perimenopause rollercoaster. Whether you’re in your 20s or late 40s (like me!), hormones influence everything —your energy, mood, digestion, skin, cycle, and emotional balance. But here’s something most women don’t hear enough: CBD can help. Not as a magic pill or miracle cure—but as a powerful tool that supports your body’s natural rhythms and helps bring balance when everything feels off. 💛 What Happens When Hormones Are Out of Whack? When estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, or thyroid hormones get thrown off, you may feel: Anxious or irritable Wired but tired Struggling with sleep or concentration Sluggish digestion or metabolism Cravings, mood dips, and PMS from another planet Sound familiar?
