🌱 Small Wins, Big Impact: The Progress We Don’t Talk About Enough

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 10, 2025

We live in a world that celebrates the big wins—the weight loss milestones, the before-and-afters, the breakthrough moments.

But what about the smaller ones?

  • Choosing water instead of soda

  • Getting out of bed when your mind says “stay down”

  • Saying no when you used to say yes just to please others

  • Catching a spiral before it takes you out for the day

  • Taking your supplements, even when you didn’t “feel like it”

These are the quiet wins—the ones that don’t always get a post or a cheer, but carry the most powerful ripple effect.

Today, I want to celebrate those moments.

Because they matter. A lot more than we give them credit for.

πŸ’› What “Progress” Really Looks Like for Me

It’s not always dramatic.

It’s not always visible.

But it’s real.

  • It’s noticing my anxiety before it takes over—and grounding myself with CBD, breathwork, or a quick walk with the dogs.

  • It’s meal prepping even when I’m tired, because I know my future self will thank me.

  • It’s brushing my hair when I didn’t want to look in the mirror two months ago.

  • It’s trusting that rest is productive.

  • It’s not quitting—even when I feel like I’m moving in slow motion.

Those are the wins that don’t scream… but stack.

And when they stack long enough?

They become your new normal.

✨ Why We Don’t Talk About Them (But Should)

Because the world doesn’t always reward consistency.

It rewards drama. Transformation. Hustle.

But the truth is—lasting change happens in the quiet moments.

It happens in the things you do when no one’s watching.

The gentle choices. The micro-shifts. The steady return to yourself.

🌿 Here Are a Few “Small Wins” Worth Celebrating Today

  • You took your collagen and your greens 🌱

  • You said kind words to yourself in the mirror πŸ’›

  • You got outside for 5 minutes and let the sun hit your face ☀️

  • You moved your body, even a little

  • You honored your boundaries

  • You let yourself rest without guilt

πŸ’¬ A Note for You (Yes,

You

):

You are doing better than you think.

You are making progress, even if it doesn’t feel loud or fast.

Please don’t wait for the “big win” to feel proud of yourself.

Celebrate the little ones—because those are what carry you forward.

If you’re in a season of slow, steady growth—I see you. And I’m cheering you on every step of the way.

Do you have a cool nickname? Who Are you?

Sunday stealing  Who Are you? Part 7 – It is Over!  Part 7: Self Image 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:   I wake up at 6:00am, take a shower, get ready for the day, then I go downstairs and feed the critters, and make breakfast for hubby and I.  We usually leave the house by about 7:30ish and I drop my husband off at work.  Then I work (I'm a Pet Groomer) until about 3:30 or 4:00ish then I leave for home and go get my hubby from work.  Then I come home and make dinner, feed the critters, work on cleaning the house a little and we usually head to bed about 8:30ish or 9:00. 85. What is your greatest strength as a person?   I am a very compassionate and have a big heart 86. What is your greatest weakness?   Interrupting people when they are talking 87. Are you going to run for President in 2016?   Nope, I don't care about politics all that much 88. Are you generally self-contained? No, I do like to talk, except t...

🌿 CBD and Hormones: What Every Woman Should Know

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 14, 2025 Let’s be real: being a woman comes with a lot of hormonal ups and downs. Mood swings. Fatigue. Bloating. Brain fog. Anxiety. Sleep issues. And don’t even get me started on the perimenopause rollercoaster. Whether you’re in your 20s or late 40s (like me!), hormones influence everything —your energy, mood, digestion, skin, cycle, and emotional balance. But here’s something most women don’t hear enough: CBD can help. Not as a magic pill or miracle cure—but as a powerful tool that supports your body’s natural rhythms and helps bring balance when everything feels off. πŸ’› What Happens When Hormones Are Out of Whack? When estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, or thyroid hormones get thrown off, you may feel: Anxious or irritable Wired but tired Struggling with sleep or concentration Sluggish digestion or metabolism Cravings, mood dips, and PMS from another planet Sound familiar?
