Finding Essential Oils

So on Wednesday I discovered an AWESOME find!  Essential oils for weight loss.  I am down 3.2# since wednesday which is when I started the oils, I have been stalled and going up/down/up for the past week to 10 days so I am super excited.  I am using Lemon, Peppermint and Grapefruit both orally and topically.  I take 4 drops of each in 16oz of water/iced tea and drink one after breakfast for my morning pick me up and one after lunch for my afternoon energy.  They are amazing!  I am not as hungry as I normally am, and I feel pretty great too.  It definitely gives me a pep.   You do have to be careful with what oils you use as some are not safe for ingestion and are not pure.  I recommend and am using Young Living's Essential Oils.  Also if you dilute in water/tea etc you have to use a metal or glass water bottle as the oils can leach the toxins out of plastic.

On another note starting to use the essential oils has woken me up to healthier alternatives to everyday uses.  I have a brown sugar body scrub I made a while back however haven't really used it, so I decided to spice it up with a couple of the oils, (lavender, peppermint, grapefruit and lemon) and it really gave me a zing this morning in the shower.  So I researched a little bit and came up with a face scrub recipe.
I used the following:
1 cup Colloidal Oatmeal (oatmeal that has been ground up into a fine powder)
1 cup Almond Powder
2-3 tablespoons milk powder
2-3 Tablespoons of Chamomille Flowers
2-3 Tablespoons Lavender Flowers
(I ground them all up in my chopper thing)

Then I took maybe 1/4-1/3 a cup of that mix and mixed in
roughly 2-3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
Several drops of lemon, peppermint, grapefruit and lavender
It's in a glass jar in my shower now.

I used it in the shower.  My daily routine in the past was to scrub my face with either the Apricot Scrub or the Deep Action scrub, I alternate days...I still have super flaky skin on my forehead and face.  I used my homemade mix this morning and OMG my face is soft and silky, and no flakes ANYWHERE!  This is a first in a LONG LONG time!
