Sometimes

Sometimes, things have to go wrong before they can go right.
Sometimes, we have to let the wrong people walk out before we allow the right people to walk in.
Sometimes, we have to feel weak in order to know what it's like to feel strong.
Sometimes, you have to be broken to realize you'll never be shattered.
Sometimes, you have to "be in like" before you can "be in love".
Sometimes, you have to take the good in with the bad to know what's actually worthwhile.

So I have spent a good majority of the past 2 days cleaning my kitchen.  Finally got the stove semi-clean.  I used a razor blade to scrape off the burnt food mess that was here when we moved in.  It looks so much better, makes my entire kitchen seem cleaner.  My hubby gave me the best compliment in the world and said "The Kitchen looks phenominal"  What a nice thing to say, it gave me a huge boost of confidence.  I even put away the leftovers from dinner and did the dinner dishes last night which feels awesome as well.  I hope this streak continues on as I want to spread the phenominalness to the rest of the house :-).

My back is bothering quite a bit today, although not as bad as my right hip, I swear I have bad hips.  It hurt so bad today while I was working.  I groomed 5 dogs today.  1 of them was extremely difficult, kept wanting to sit down while I was trying to shave her, then she'd turn around on the table wanting to face the other people who were in the shop, drove me bonkers.  My special needs kitty has been peeing outside of the litterbox, so I finally took her up to grandpa AKA VET to have her checked for a bladder infection, she had a low grade one, we gave her a shot of long acting penicillin and will repeat it in a week.  I hope it helps cause my house is starting to smell like cat pee.  She will pee ona doggie potty pad, but if she's not all the way on it, she'll just go and it runs onto the floor.  We have hardwood floors that need to be sealed desperately.

Is there an artist whose early demise surprised and saddened you?   Not an artist but Heath Ledger's death really shocked me and took me by surprise.  He is one of my all time favorite actors. 5) Billie was known as "Lady Day." Do you have a cool nickname? (If not, feel free to give yourself one right now.)   No cool nicknames, as a kid I was "Woodie or Fruitcake".....don't ask LOL 6) When was the last time you had the blues?   ...

Who Are you?

Sunday stealing  Who Are you? Part 7 – It is Over!  Part 7: Self Image 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:   I wake up at 6:00am, take a shower, get ready for the day, then I go downstairs and feed the critters, and make breakfast for hubby and I.  We usually leave the house by about 7:30ish and I drop my husband off at work.  Then I work (I'm a Pet Groomer) until about 3:30 or 4:00ish then I leave for home and go get my hubby from work.  Then I come home and make dinner, feed the critters, work on cleaning the house a little and we usually head to bed about 8:30ish or 9:00. 85. What is your greatest strength as a person?   I am a very compassionate and have a big heart 86. What is your greatest weakness?   Interrupting people when they are talking 87. Are you going to run for President in 2016?   Nope, I don't care about politics all that much 88. Are you generally self-contained? No, I do like to talk, except t...

🌿 CBD and Hormones: What Every Woman Should Know

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 14, 2025 Let’s be real: being a woman comes with a lot of hormonal ups and downs. Mood swings. Fatigue. Bloating. Brain fog. Anxiety. Sleep issues. When estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, or thyroid hormones get thrown off, you may feel: Anxious or irritable Wired but tired Struggling with sleep or concentration Sluggish digestion or metabolism Cravings, mood dips, and PMS from another planet Sound familiar?
