5 Daily Wellness Habits That Keep Me Grounded

Let’s be honest—life can feel overwhelming. Between work, parenting, pet care, and everything in between, it’s easy to feel scattered and stressed. But over the past year, I’ve discovered a few simple wellness habits that help me stay grounded, focused, and in tune with myself.

These aren’t complicated or time-consuming. They’re little moments of intention that add up to a big difference. Here are the five daily habits that help me feel my best—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

1. CBD for Calm & Balance
My day starts and ends with CBD. It’s helped me feel calmer, sleep better, and handle stress without spiraling. I use Green Compass CBD Nano Jellies and love how quickly they work.

Whether it’s easing anxious thoughts before a busy day or helping me wind down at night, CBD has become a trusted part of my wellness routine. It helps me stay grounded and present, no matter what the day throws at me.

2. Movement, Even When It’s Hard
Working out isn’t just about fitness for me—it’s therapy. Moving my body daily helps clear my mind, boost my mood, and reconnect me to my goals.

Some days it’s an intense strength workout, other days it’s a yoga flow or just stretching. But no matter what, I make time for movement because it reminds me of my strength and helps release whatever I’m holding onto.

3. A Go-To Podcast or Uplifting Audio
Whether I’m driving to work, folding laundry, or walking my dogs, I love listening to uplifting podcasts. It’s like a mini reset for my mindset.

Some days I listen to personal development. Other days it’s wellness tips, mental health support, or even just something that makes me laugh. It helps me start the day on a positive note and feel less alone in whatever I’m navigating.

4. Hydration, Always
I’ve learned that staying hydrated is one of the easiest ways to feel better fast. I keep water nearby at all times and aim to drink consistently throughout the day.

It supports my energy, digestion, skin, and even my mood. It sounds simple, but it’s one of the most powerful habits I’ve built.

5. Slowing Down on Purpose
Whether it’s sipping my coffee in silence or pausing to cuddle my Yorkies, I build in quiet moments where I’m not multitasking. These little pauses help me stay grounded, grateful, and present in the middle of a busy life.

Some days, it’s just a few deep breaths before I dive into the day. But those breaths help me stay rooted in me.

Final Thoughts
Wellness doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. These habits aren’t about doing everything right—they’re about showing up for myself every day in small, meaningful ways.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, try starting with just one of these. The ripple effect is real. And if you ever want to chat about creating your own daily routine, I’m just a DM away.

Who Are you?

Sunday stealing  Who Are you? Part 7 – It is Over!  Part 7: Self Image 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:   I wake up at 6:00am, take a shower, get ready for the day, then I go downstairs and feed the critters, and make breakfast for hubby and I.  We usually leave the house by about 7:30ish and I drop my husband off at work.  Then I work (I'm a Pet Groomer) until about 3:30 or 4:00ish then I leave for home and go get my hubby from work.  Then I come home and make dinner, feed the critters, work on cleaning the house a little and we usually head to bed about 8:30ish or 9:00. 85. 🌿 CBD and Hormones: What Every Woman Should Know

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 14, 2025 Let’s be real: being a woman comes with a lot of hormonal ups and downs. Mood swings. Fatigue. Bloating. Brain fog. Anxiety. Sleep issues. And don’t even get me started on the perimenopause rollercoaster. Whether you’re in your 20s or late 40s (like me!), hormones influence everything —your energy, mood, digestion, skin, cycle, and emotional balance. But here’s something most women don’t hear enough: CBD can help. Not as a magic pill or miracle cure—but as a powerful tool that supports your body’s natural rhythms and helps bring balance when everything feels off. 💛 What Happens When Hormones Are Out of Whack? When estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, or thyroid hormones get thrown off, you may feel: Anxious or irritable Wired but tired Struggling with sleep or concentration Sluggish digestion or metabolism Cravings, mood dips, and PMS from another planet Sound familiar?
