Green Jello Effect

Each of us has something broken in our lives:
A broken promise, a broken dream, a broken marriage, a broken heart;
And we must decide how we're going to deal with our brokenness.
We can wallow in self-pity or regret, accomplishing nothing a
nd having no fun or joy in our circumstances;
Or we can determine with our will to take a few risks, get out of our comfort zone, and see what God will do to bring unexpected delight in our time of need.

I hate driving in traffic with a passion.  Especially with the whole Green Jello Effect.....let me explain.  Whenever there is a car off the road be it because they are broken down or an accident or what have you, the rest of traffic HAS to slow down.  My philosophy is because they are checking to see if they know the person to see if they need to take them some green jello later. :-)  It's true!  It drives me batty.  Today we all had to come to a complete stop because someone was changing a shredded tire on the side of the road....seriously people!

Today was a good day, Rob said I am being a little grumpy, I guess because I don't feel very good have had a tummy ache most of the day.  I am getting really annoyed with Griffin (he's our shih tzu mix) as he is determined to bark at the buzzing of the resident fruit flies...I swear, he barks at nothing just to hear the sound of his own bark, can you tell I'm a wee bit annoyed and frustrated with him lately?  I guess I need to take a step back, and just relax.  He can't help it if he is a little 'off' mentally (okay now I'm not trying to be mean, he just is, as was his mother....yep I'm a little off, but no seriously his doggie mom wasn't all the way there.  Guess I need to accept his weaknesses and deal with them.  As you can tell Patience is NOT one of my strong points.  Another thing I need to work on.

Is there an artist whose early demise surprised and saddened you?   Not an artist but Heath Ledger's death really shocked me and took me by surprise.  He is one of my all time favorite actors. 5) Billie was known as "Lady Day." Do you have a cool nickname? (If not, feel free to give yourself one right now.)   No cool nicknames, as a kid I was "Woodie or Fruitcake".....don't ask LOL 6) When was the last time you had the blues?   ...

Who Are you?

Sunday stealing  Who Are you? Part 7 – It is Over!  Part 7: Self Image 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:   I wake up at 6:00am, take a shower, get ready for the day, then I go downstairs and feed the critters, and make breakfast for hubby and I.  We usually leave the house by about 7:30ish and I drop my husband off at work.  Then I work (I'm a Pet Groomer) until about 3:30 or 4:00ish then I leave for home and go get my hubby from work.  Then I come home and make dinner, feed the critters, work on cleaning the house a little and we usually head to bed about 8:30ish or 9:00. 85. What is your greatest strength as a person?   I am a very compassionate and have a big heart 86. What is your greatest weakness?   Interrupting people when they are talking 87. Are you going to run for President in 2016?   Nope, I don't care about politics all that much 88. Are you generally self-contained? No, I do like to talk, except t...
