๐ŸŒž 5 Morning Mindset Shifts That Changed My Days

Posted in The Wellness Den | May 25, 2025

Mornings used to feel like chaos.

I’d wake up already behind, rushing through tasks, mentally spiraling before my feet even hit the floor.

But over time—and through a lot of personal growth—I realized something big:

๐Ÿ‘‰ How I start my morning shapes my entire day.

And it wasn’t about overhauling my routine. It was about shifting my mindset.

These 5 gentle morning mindset shifts changed everything for me—and they might help you find more calm, clarity, and control in your own day too.

☀️ 1. “I

get

 to start fresh today.”

Instead of waking up with dread or overwhelm, I remind myself: this is a new beginning.

Not everything has to be fixed.

Not everything has to be perfect.

I just have to show up—gently and honestly.

๐Ÿ’› This simple shift helps me release yesterday’s stress and focus on today’s possibilities.

☕ 2. “Slower mornings are still productive.”

I used to think if I wasn’t up at 5am crushing a workout, I was failing.

Now I know: calm mornings ARE productive.

Quiet time, intention-setting, deep breaths, a warm drink—these all fuel me more than hustle ever did.

๐ŸŒฟ I’ve learned to honor how I start my day, not just how much I get done.

๐Ÿ“ต 3. “I don’t need to scroll to wake up.”

Grabbing my phone first thing used to be automatic. But it flooded my brain with other people’s lives, needs, and noise before I even checked in with myself.

Now? I wait.

I open my blinds, stretch, sip water or CBD, and just exist for a few minutes before opening my phone.

✨ It’s a small act of self-respect—and it makes a big difference.

๐Ÿ’ฌ 4. “My words shape my world.”

I start the day with affirmations or grounding thoughts like:

  • “I’m allowed to move at my own pace.”

  • “I am not behind—I’m exactly where I need to be.”

  • “Today is a gift, and I get to choose how I show up.”

Speaking truth over myself before the world speaks at me = game changer.

๐Ÿ’ญ You can write them on sticky notes, speak them aloud, or just think them while making your coffee.

๐Ÿง˜‍♀️ 5. “My energy is sacred.”

Not everyone gets access to me first thing in the morning.

I don’t take early calls. I protect my peace. I start from a place of centeredness—not chaos.

๐ŸŒธ Your energy is precious. Starting slow helps you give from overflow, not depletion.

๐ŸŒฟ Your Morning Matters

You don’t need a 2-hour morning routine or a curated aesthetic to have a powerful start to your day.

You just need a few gentle mindset shifts—ones that remind you:

✨ You’re in control.

✨ You’re worthy of peace.

✨ You don’t have to wake up in panic mode.

Start small. Breathe deep. Begin again—every single morning.

๐ŸŒฟ CBD and Hormones: What Every Woman Should Know

Posted in The Wellness Den | June 14, 2025 Let’s be real: being a woman comes with a lot of hormonal ups and downs. Mood swings. Fatigue. Bloating. Brain fog. Anxiety. Sleep issues. And don’t even get me started on the perimenopause rollercoaster. Whether you’re in your 20s or late 40s (like me!), hormones influence everything —your energy, mood, digestion, skin, cycle, and emotional balance. But here’s something most women don’t hear enough: CBD can help. Not as a magic pill or miracle cure—but as a powerful tool that supports your body’s natural rhythms and helps bring balance when everything feels off. ๐Ÿ’› What Happens When Hormones Are Out of Whack? When estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, or thyroid hormones get thrown off, you may feel: Anxious or irritable Wired but tired Struggling with sleep or concentration Sluggish digestion or metabolism Cravings, mood dips, and PMS from another planet Sound familiar?
