The Help Button

Do you ever feel like you need a help button?  Like you are drowning or suffocating or just so overwhelmed with the tasks at hand?  That is how I felt/feel about my house, everything is/was so overwhelming that I couldn't even begin to start on it cause I didn't know where or would try and not see any progress at all.  My help button, was my AWESOME amazing, incredible CARING sister Lara being in tune with my needs.  She knew that my house was a sore spot between Rob and I and she wanted/offered to help.   Well today we ate probably 1/2 to 3/4's of the elephant called my house.  My sister Lara, and my mom and dad came up and spent the day here helping me clean.  It was awesome and I appreciated it so much.  We got my office, scrapbook room, and upstairs bathroom clean, (well just have to do some tidying up) but starting in the office/scrapbook room you couldn't even see the floor, you couldn't even walk/get into the scrapbook room as it was stacked so high.  It was a great day, I found the last christmas card that I ever got from my Grandma Sims, that is something I will always treasure.  My dad worked on my kitchen/dishes and got one counter cleaned off, and cleaned out/overhauled my dishwasher.  You might think, wow 3 people only got that little bit cleaned?  Well I would say we probably filled my dad's truck (full size Dodge Pickup truck) at least 1x if not more, he only filled it towards the back but made 3 or 4 trips to the dumpster.  AMAZING!   Thanks guys!  I love you!

Then I went back to my podiatrist because my pinky toe on my left foot has been bothering me again (I had surgery on it last November).  So x-rays were taken and apparently if I ever break a bone, I will heal quit well.....my bone spur has re-grown 20-30%, so I am scheduled for surgery next thursday....the Dr wants me to take a week and a half off of work....but that ain't going to happen 1-  I can't afford to 2- I don't want to make my clients wait 3-  I can sit while I work (which is what I did last time), I may just have to have my family come and help me out.  So I will have next Thursday-Monday to recover then back to work on Tuesday.  It sucks in a way because I can't take pain meds (more than 1/2 dose at a time) because I get extremely sick and I HATE HATE HATE the way they make me feel it SUCKS.  So that'll be fun, I can thank my mom for the sickness on pain pills... Wahoo!

I found this and thought it was interesting, there are WAY more 'famous' people who have bipolar than I would have thought.

Saturday 9: Good Morning, Heartache

Trying another new thing called Saturday 9, it can be found here:  http://samanthasaturday9.blogspot.com 1) Do you come up with your brightest ideas early in the morning or late at night?   I would say that I am most creative later in the evenings 2) Are you more likely to feel romantic at night or in the morning?  Depends on the day :-), but usually at night 3) Do you shower in the morning, after work or before bed?   I shower in the mornings, it helps wake me up 4) Billie Holiday was just 44 when she died. Is there an artist whose early demise surprised and saddened you?   Not an artist but Heath Ledger's death really shocked me and took me by surprise.  He is one of my all time favorite actors. 5) Billie was known as "Lady Day." Do you have a cool nickname? (If not, feel free to give yourself one right now.)   No cool nicknames, as a kid I was "Woodie or Fruitcake".....don't ask LOL 6) When was the last time you had the blues?   ...

Who Are you?

Sunday stealing  Who Are you? Part 7 – It is Over!  Part 7: Self Image 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:   I wake up at 6:00am, take a shower, get ready for the day, then I go downstairs and feed the critters, and make breakfast for hubby and I.  We usually leave the house by about 7:30ish and I drop my husband off at work.  Then I work (I'm a Pet Groomer) until about 3:30 or 4:00ish then I leave for home and go get my hubby from work.  Then I come home and make dinner, feed the critters, work on cleaning the house a little and we usually head to bed about 8:30ish or 9:00. 85.
